How many pictures do you take?
We do not set a limit. After taking the shots normally expected, we always ask the bride and groom if there are any special photographs they would like.

Can I view samples of your work?
We have a dedicated wedding room at our studio in Cheshunt, with examples of our work taken at all the popular local venues and churches.

How long will the photography take?
We generally try to keep the photography after the marriage to around one hour. Naturally it varies with the number of guests, bridesmaids, requested groups, etc. We also encourage guests to take their own pictures. It’s your wedding – we’re there to capture moments, not take over your day.

Can I have black and white pictures?
We use colour film throughout the event. However we can print black and white photos from the colour negatives. We can also produce big enlargements. Ask to see samples in our studio.

What about ‘reportage’ pictures?
We always endeavour to mix some of these casual and candid shots with traditional, formal photographs.

Can I keep the proofs?
No. These are the property of Carleton Photographic at all times. We keep the colour negatives on file should you decide further prints are needed in the future.

When do I need to book Carleton Photographic?
The more popular times for weddings are often booked over a year in advance. To avoid disappointment please book early.
